Given that all of us (people around the world that is) are still consuming products made from oil and will continue to do so for some time, which new projects, worldwide, should we (Canadians) support as a better alternative to the Teck Frontier project, and what are the comparison details?  It seems to me that there are challenges and environmental impacts with all oil projects.  If the Teck Frontier project is the worst of the lot, then insist that they improve it.  If it is as good or better than other projects around the world, then it should proceed, thus diminishing the likelihood of the projects that are worse proceeding.

Simply clamouring to block it, while worse projects proceed elsewhere, doesn't make any sense.
