Joyceville Institution Low level intake design – Public Comments Invited

June 02, 2023 – The Correctional Service Canada must determine whether the proposed project Joyceville Institution Low level intake design, located in Joyceville, Ontario is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, the Correctional Service Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

Installation of a new intake screen and refurbishment of intake head and components.  Re-commissioning and repair of the chlorine injection system as a mussel deterrent.
