Westsyde Road Multi-Use Pathway – Public Comments Invited

May 17, 2023 – Infrastructure Canada must determine whether the proposed Westsyde Road Multi-Use Pathway, located on Whispering Pines 4 is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Infrastructure Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

This project involves the installation of a 1.4 km long, 3-metre-wide multi-use gravel pathway on developed lands alongside Westsyde Road, British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure right-of-way. Signage and pathway markers will also be installed along the path. All project activities are taking place on Whispering Pines 4, federal lands administered by Indigenous Services Canada.
