YMX International Aerocity of Mirabel - Rehabilitation of a Former Fuel Reception and Distribution Center - Public Comments Invited

March 16, 2023 - ADM Aéroports de Montréal must determine whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, ADM Aéroports de Montréal is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

Montréal International Fuel Facilities Corporation (MIFFC) plans to rehabilitate the site of its former fuel reception and distribution center located on land near Bélanger Road at YMX International Aérocity of Mirabel. The facilities were decommissioned in 2005 and the above ground infrastructure has since been dismantled. The rehabilitation plan includes soil excavation, water management, dismantling of monitoring wells, backfilling and grading. MIFFC will also implement a post-rehabilitation groundwater monitoring program.
