Notice of Determination - New Canada Post Processing Centre, Ottawa ON 

February 27, 2023 - Canada Post Corporation (CPC) and the National Capital Commission (NCC) have determined that the proposed project, New Canada Post Processing Centre, Ottawa ON is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. This determination was based on a consideration of the following factors:

• impacts on rights of Indigenous peoples and Indigenous knowledge;
• community knowledge;
• comments received from the public; and
• technically and economically feasible mitigation measures.

CPC and the NCC are satisfied that that the carrying out of the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects given the identified mitigation measures. Therefore, the proponent Canada Post may carry out the project in whole or in part.
