July 19, 2022 – Indigenous Services Canada has determined that the proposed Dzawada'enuxw Generator and Distribution System Upgrades is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

The determination was based on the following factors:

• The proposed project will replace aging infrastructure assets enhancing the resilience of the community infrastructure.
• No comments were received from the public about the project.
• Mitigation measures required for the project will be implemented through the Environmental Management Plan.
