The Proposed Project

Wahnapitae First Nation is proposing a capital build for the Wellness and Prevention Centre on undeveloped lots. The footprint of the one story building is 920 m2, with an additional parking lot. Well water and septic will be installed following applicable guidelines. The community specified that no species at risk have been identified in the proposed project area. There are roads on three sides and the backside of the lot is adjacent to roads and a large campground, wildlife does not frequent the green space.
