May 20, 2022 – Infrastructure Canada must determine whether the proposed Nak'azdli Whuten Multigenerational Multi-Use Park: Skatepark and Multi-Use Ball Park Project, located in Fort St. James, British Columbia, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Infrastructure Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. The Proposed Project

The proposed project will construct an approximately 1100 m2 recreation area, a youth-driven initiative. The project is aimed at improving the overall mental health of the youth in the Nak'azdli Whuten community by providing a recreational area for them to use and enjoy.

The proposed project includes:

-A skate park (~930 m2);

- Landscaping;

- Site Furnishings;

- Pathways; and,

- related works.
