Sienna Networks Ltd, New Telecommunications Tower on Lax Kw'alaams No. 1 Reserve, Lax Kw'alaams, BC- Public Comments Invited

2022-02-09 – Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada must determine whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

Written comments must be submitted by 2022-03-11 to the contact identified on the project page.

The Proposed Project

Sienna Networks Ltd. is proposing to construct a new 4.0 meter tall antenna pole mounted on a free-standing cabinet within the Lax Kw'alaams No. 1 Reserve.  The purpose of the proposed tower is to provide Land Mobile Radio service to the area around Lax Kw'alaams.  Access to the site is likely to be accomplished via helicopter.  The new tower may undergo periodic antenna additions, replacements or other minor modifications.
