The proposed project

Anchor Dock Services, on behalf of the upland property owner, proposes to conduct maintenance and repair works to an existing recreational dock, located in the Burrard Inlet at 5063 Whiskey Cove Lane, in the Village of Belcarra. The proposed works include installing two 16 inch, HDPE-lined steel piles to support and secure the existing flat. The dock currently is anchored to the seabed by chains and anchors, which will be removed once the installation of the piles has been completed. The piles are anticipated to be installed by barge and crane and driven by vibratory and/or drop hammer. One pile location may require drilling to set the pile in place due to seabed conditions. The works are expected to take approximately 5 days to complete.
