Notice of Intent to Make a Determination

Driftpile Cree Nation Gas Line Connector Project - Public Comments Invited
November 1, 2021 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Driftpile Cree Nation Gas Line Connector Project, located in Driftpile Cree Nation, Alberta is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project
Install a 3" low pressure gas line into the First Nation to ensure there is no gas shortage to the expanding community. The new line will provide enough gas to support the Nation for years to come.
