Nav Canada Pearson Localizer 23 Remote Unit – Public Comments Invited

September 14, 2021 – The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) must determine whether the proposed Nav Canada Pearson Localizer 23 Remote Unit, located south of Derry road and North of 05 Approach Service road at Toronto Pearson International Airport is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, the GTAA is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. The Proposed Project

Nav Canada intends to install a new foundation for a 40 foot tower for a new Remote Unit Multilateration antenna and associated equipment. The tower will be located at Toronto Pearson International Airport south of Derry Road and north of 05 Approach Service road. Power will be supplied from Localizer 23 which will require directional bore and installation of 2-50mm poly conduits.
