Nav Canada Toronto Transmitter Back-up Towers Replacement – Public Comments Invited

September 16, 2021 – The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) must determine whether the proposed Nav Canada Toronto Transmitter Back-up Towers Replacement, located to the west of the intersection of Britannia Road E and Convair Drive at Toronto Pearson International Airport is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, the GTAA is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. The Proposed Project

Installation of five (5) new foundations, five (5) new towers and equipment shelter. Install conduits from existing equipment shelter to new towers and install antennas and coax from new towers to existing equipment shelter. Remove existing towers, foundations, and conduits.
