The Proposed Project

Nipissing First Nation is in the process of designing and constructing a new roadway along an abandoned CN railway bed. The new 4.4km roadway will include two (2) connecting roadways with railway crossings that will connect the main roadway to Nova Beaucage Road in Yellek and Goulais Crescent in Duchesnay and a multi-use lane for pedestrians/cyclists along the south shoulder of the entire length of the proposed roadway and the replacement of six (6) crossing culverts.
