Crow Lake Harbour Repairs 2021 - Public Comments Invited 

July 22, 2021 – Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Small Craft Harbours Branch, must determine whether the proposed Crow Lake Harbour Repairs Project located on Crow Lake is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.To help inform this determination, Fisheries and Oceans Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project 

Central Frontenac Township intends to complete repairs at Crow Lake Small Craft Harbour located at the northern tip of Crow Lake. The proposed project is on federal lands located in the Village of Crow Lake, Central Frontenac Township.

The repairs will include:

  • Minor dredging past the end of the launch ramp 
  • Installation of a mud mat at the end of the launch ramp 
  • Installation of rock protection at the side of the launch ramp 
  • Minor repairs of the crib structure

The project may include installation of a dry hydrant.
