Notice of determination for the Piapot First Nation Prince Albert Urban Gas Bar & Convenience Store

July 2, 2021 - Indigenous Services Canada has determined that the proposed Piapot First Nation Prince Albert Urban Gas Bar & Convenience Store is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

The determination was based on a consideration of the following factors:

-the construction and operation of the Piapot First Nation Prince Albert Urban Gas Bar & Convenience Store will provide revenue, employment and training opportunities for members of the community
 -an updated emergency response plan will be submitted prior to the operation of the Gas Station
-the fuel storage tanks will be registered with Environment and Climate Change Canada
-a municipal services agreement is in place for this gas bar & convenience store
-construction will be in accordance with City of PA building permit regulations
-the operation will be in compliance with all applicable Federal Regulations

Indigenous Services Canada is satisfied that the carrying out of the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
