Multi-use Arbour & Powwow Grounds on Brokenhead Reserve – Public Comments Invited
March 19th, 2021 – Infrastructure Canada must determine whether the proposed Multi-use Arbour & Powwow Grounds on Brokenhead Reserve project, located in Scanterbury on Brokenhead Reserve is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, Infrastructure Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice (https://iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluations/protection?culture=en-CA) on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project
The proposed Multi-use Arbour & Powwow Grounds will be a multi-use facility to be used by Brokenhead Ojibway Nation and surrounding First Nations for a multitude of uses, including cultural teachings and workshops, traditional ceremonies, cultural programming, rentals and community celebrations and events.
