The Proposed Project

The proponent proposes to attach a pre-manufactured float to their existing dock at 2250 Farrer Cove Place in Belcarra, BC. The float will be 10 meters long and 3 metres wide with a wooden surface on foam filled with polyethylene floating devices. The float will be attached to the dock on one end and stabilized on the opposite end with chains attached to two concrete anchors that will rest on the seafloor. No piles will be installed. No eel grass or other sensitive ecological areas have been identified within the project footprint.
