The Proposed Project

In order to increase water capacity associated with terminal expansion, Neptune Bulk Terminals (NBT) is proposing to install a 300 metre long water supply pipe at their facility located at 1001 Low Level Road in North Vancouver, BC. Approximately 120 metres of the new pipe will be located above ground and attached to the underside of the Cargill/NBT access bridge overpass while the remaining 180 metres of the pipe will be installed underground and require some excavation. It is anticipated that some of the work will be completed outside of regular port authority working hours to reduce the impact of construction on the community. The project is expected to take approximately 8 months to complete.
