Marina 200 - Fuel Tank System Installation - Public Comments Invited

July 9, 2020 - Fisheries and Oceans Canada Small Craft Harbours branch must determine whether the proposed Marina 200 Fuel Tank System Installation project located in Cornwall, ON is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Small Craft Harbours Branch is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project
The City of Cornwall, with support from Fisheries and Oceans Canada's Small Craft Harbours branch, is planning to install two (2) new fuel storage tanks and fuel dispensing systems at Marina 200 located at 200 Water St E, Cornwall, ON K6H 1A3. These fuel storage tanks will each have a capacity of 9,639L, one tank for gasoline and one tank for diesel, and will replace the tanks that were removed from this location last year to support marina operations.
