Notice of intent to make a determination

Bigstone Cree Nation Oilfield Supply Store – Public Comments Invited

May 27th, 2020 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Bigstone Cree Nation Oilfield Supply Store project, located on Wabasca #166, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project

Bigstone Cree Nation is proposing to develop ta lot to build an oilfield supply store. The lot is within the newly developed industrial area on reserve #166. The development will include the construction of a shop/office building with a parking area and fencing of the development area.
