Upgrade to Tilley Avenue between Champlain Avenue and Ganong Street – 5th Canadian Division Support Base (CDSB) Gagetown, Oromocto NB

May 8, 2020 — The Department of National Defence must decide whether the proposed project to Upgrade to Tilley Avenue between Champlain Avenue and Ganong Street – 5th Canadian Division Support Base (CDSB) Gagetown is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this decision, the Department of National Defence is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

Tilley Avenue, between Champlain Avenue and Ganong Street will be upgraded. The Project will include widening of the roadway to include bike lanes, upgrade of pedestrian crossings, replacement of the stream culvert on Indian Brook, replacement of sanitary and storm sewer lines and outfall structures within the Tilley Avenue right-of-way (where required); and intersection upgrades within the right-of-way.
