The Proposed Project

J7 Parking lot /Parade Square was constructed in 1960. Area predominantly used as parking for privately owned motor vehicles, and is at times utilize for military parades. It underwent a major rehabilitation approximately 30 years ago, and the asphalt is currently in poor condition. The purpose of this project is to bring parking area/parade square back to an acceptable state of repair. Work will include:
1. Pulverizing existing asphalt, fine grading and re-surfacing with a new layer of asphalt.
2. Replacement of the concrete portion of the parade square.
3. New storm drainage through the center of the area (currently no storm drainage).
4. Addition of a bio-swale at the north end of the parade square.
5. Line painting.
6. Site restoration.
