The Proposed Project

Georgia Pacific Canada Gypsum Holding ULC proposes to undertake demolition works at their site at 12509 116th Avenue, Surrey, a portion of which is within the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority's jurisdiction. The proposed works include the demolition of all upland structures to slab on grade, as well as the demolition of a conveyer system located on a dock that extends into the Fraser River. The wharf and docking structure are to remain, however the conveyor belt, the belt's supporting structure and related hopper located above are to be demolished and removed from site.
