The Proposed Project

Ground water which is flowing from Canadian Forces Base Shearwater to the adjacent property (761 Pleasant Street) land is deteriorating a slope which abuts the two properties. This slope will continue to deteriorate unless the flow of ground water from Canadian Forces Base Shearwater to Pleasant Street is controlled. A perforated pipe will be placed in the ground on Department of National Defence and/or the private property to control the flow of water. The design allows for the flow to continue to be directed as it currently is but managed so that it will drain without affecting the integrity of slope and the property of 761 Pleasant Street. Once the pipe has been installed, the lands on both Canadian Forces Base Shearwater and 761 Pleasant Street will be restored to their original states.
