The Project - Replace Culvert on Chalk River Road, Garrison Petawawa Range and Training Area

Real Properties Operations Detachment Petawawa at Garrison Petawawa is proposing the replacement of a Culvert on Chalk River Road in the Range and Training Area of the Garrison. This road is a main access road in the Training Area, and it also serves as an Emergency Evacuation Route for the adjacent facility and property owned by Canadian Nuclear Laboratories. This culvert is in poor condition and is impacting the integrity and use of the road. Mitigation measures will be implemented to protect the adjacent water body and wetland from negative impacts during construction. The replacement of this culvert will improve the safety of all troops and civilian personnel using this road.
