Notice of Commencement of an Environmental Assessment

Ottawa – April 15, 2013 - The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the Agency) has commenced an environmental assessment pursuant to the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012 (CEAA 2012) for the Carbon Creek Metallurgical Coal Mine Project.

On March 1, 2013, the Agency decided that a federal environmental assessment was required.
